Guidelines for Submission of Applications:

General Information:

• Pearl Awards is open to all licensed BP companies within TECOM that have been operating for at least 12 months.
• There are a total of 11 Award Categories. These are divided into 10 Organizational  Awards and one individual Awards detailed.
• Criteria are defined for each Category.
• Examples of evidence or what to include are given for each criteria to assist in the preparation of the application.

Entry Requirements:

• Applications to be made online to TECOM.
• New submission deadline to be announced soon. Applications will not be accepted after this date.
• Companies can apply for up to a maximum of four different Award Categories.
• Applications must be submitted by the company management.
• Applications that do not comply with the entry requirements or that are not made in the spirit of the Awards programme may 
  be refused.
• To be eligible to apply for the Company of the Year Award, companies must have applied for a minimum of four other 
  Company Awards.

Applications:

• A separate submission is required for each Award Category entered.
• The Pearl Award application form must accompany each submission.
• Applications should be made in English using Times New Roman or Arial font style with font size of 12. Submissions may have 
  one or two vertical columns.
• Applications can have a maximum of six pages: three fulfilling the criteria and maximum three attachments as evidence. Charts and    tables may be embedded in the main application or as part of the attachments.
• Attachments should be clearly labelled and all diagrams and graphs must be legible.Samples would suffice rather than providing    whole documents.
• Every application should include:
       • Pearl Award application form duly completed.
       • Overview and description of the company.
       • A brief introduction giving reasons for choosing the particular Award Category.
       • Main achievements and key results achieved as per criteria.
       • History of results (trend) and performance over the      years should  include previous awards or   individual recognition
• No responsibility will be accepted for incomplete, damaged or corrupt applications and proof of application should not be considered as proof of receipt of the application by the TECOM Awards Office.
