The TECOM Pearl Awards recognises the achievements of TECOM Business Partners (BPs) in the various award categories. Since inception, TECOM through the various clusters and zones has encouraged the development of BPs and many have not only grown but have led their respective sectors and have achieved excellence. 

The purpose of the Awards is to celebrate and recognize the success of TECOM BPs, to share knowledge about the industry and to drive excellence and best practices within TECOM its BPs and the Dubai economy.

Some of the benefits of applying to these Awards include:

• TECOM Pearl Award winners will be acknowledged at  a dedicated  ceremony and will receive publicity as  industry leaders in their respective categories.
• Enhances the image of the company within TECOM, in Dubai and in the local and regional business community.
• Increases awareness of its products and services.
• Enhances the awareness of its employees with regard to quality and business excellence.
• Subject to usage guidelines and prior approval from TECOM Management, the winning organizations are eligible to publicize their achievement and display the TECOM Pearl Business Awards symbol on their marketing and promotional material including the packaging and promotion of their award.
  

All BPs of TECOM from any sector and of any size can enter. It is vital, however, that applicants must have been operational as a TECOM BP for at least one year.

Entries are welcomed from companies of any size. There is no restriction in terms of turnover or number of employees.

The length of time that you have been operational must be at least 12 months.  It is important that you meet the criteria and display supporting data for the applied categories covering this period.

To support proper assessment of your submission, the first year’s data are usually required; it is mandatory therefore to be operational for at least 12 months.

The Business Awards are for businesses registered with TECOM.

There are 11 Awards representing every conceivable business dynamic. These are divided into 10 organizational Awards and one individual Award.

Companies may apply for a maximum of four Awards. These include the individual award for 'Best Entrepreneur of the year'.

We suggest that you allow at least three to five days for completing the entry form.   All the questions in the application are important and need careful consideration. Entrants will need to collate information from several different sources across the business to support each criteria in the applied award category or categories.

The underlying values associated with all criteria are ethics, success and innovation. There are separate criteria for each of the award categories and they appear on the application form (also available on the category pages). The Assessors and Jury members will be looking for evidence of entrants meeting all the criteria whilst embracing the underlying values stated above.
